Project Profile: Billerica, Massachusetts

Description: A 300 year old antique 2-story Center Chimney Colonial located in Billerica, Massachusetts. This project has a roof deck in poor condition. The roof needs to be stripped and the deck needs to be re-sheathed with plywood.

The customer decided on an Energy Star rated Oxford Aluminum “Slate” metal roof for their house.

Showcase Project image 3 The plywood for the new sheathing arrives at the site the day we begin the project. This roof has 300 year old boards that are in poor condition. The need to have this roof re-sheathed will be obvious as the shingles come off.

Showcase Project image 6-3		 The cleanup crew. We clean up the site daily to be sure there is a safe environment for everyone involved. We also do a magnetic sweep of the site for any nails that our visual inspection may have missed.
