Letter of appreciation

Dear Classic Metal Roofs:
Just a letter of appreciation for the fine job you and your company did in providing me with a handsome new roof. Of course the “proof of the pudding is in the eating”, and this letter should probably be written in another few decades when the roof has met its promise by fending off the rain, snows, and wind that we get lots of here in New England.
Since I would have to be a centenarian to be around to see it, though, I will have to restrict my comments at this writing to the pleasure I’ve had in dealing with you and your company. This 100-year-old house presented many challenges, with its variety slopes, its many rotted siding boards, and its decaying chimney. The chimney man you connected me with did a great job on very short notice at a quite reasonable price.
The job was completed on time, your workmen were industrious and friendly, the choice of tiles was quite appropriate and has brought forth comments on good looks from friends and neighbors. A small amount of ceiling stains that resulted from some unexpectedly heavy rains at a critical point in the process was speedily corrected, leaving things actually better than they were initially.
On the whole, I’m very pleased and proud of my new roof, and I take comfort in the confidence that if any problems arise, you will be there to take care of it.
Best wishes,
Dan S. (Waban, MA 02468)
