Our Estimate Process During COVID-19
March 20, 2020 | By Mike Gonet | Filed under: Blog
You are probably asking yourself if it makes sense or is necessary to invite someone over to your house and invite them in to provide a detailed estimate and answer your many questions. Why take the risk of an in-person appointment while potentially exposing yourself to the COVID-19 virus? Believe it or not, we have sold many metal roofs in the past while never even having met the homeowners in person.
Thankfully, technology allows us to get a fairly accurate preliminary estimate in most cases with aerial imaging software. Further, if you want an answer to any question you might have regarding your new metal roof, we have it readily available on our comprehensive website. Just ask us, and we will point you to it.
The reason why in-home estimates happen today is because that is the way it has always been done. Things change, and while we would prefer to meet with you face-to-face, right now that may not be the best way to provide you with what you need during COVID-19.
If you are in the market for a new roof, and would like a preliminary estimate, just ask us what the next step would be to get you into a new lifetime metal roof from Classic Metal Roofs, LLC.
Other Important Questions You May Have:
- Company stability – Classic Metal Roofs, LLC is a debt-free family owned company that has been in business for 18 years. We can weather this storm and provide you the necessary support for years to come. Our lifetime warranty on workmanship is available to all our customers even during this time of Coronavirus.
- Installation Flow – Homes with compromised roofs will take priority during this National Emergency. They will be handled first in the installation schedule. Homes looking to upgrade roofs for cosmetic reasons will be installed after emergencies are handled.
- Payments – We are requiring a small deposit to secure your place in our installation schedule. When we are ready to schedule your project for installation, and order the material, which at present requires a lead time of a minimum of four to six weeks, we will request the first one-third of the roofing agreement. We also offer some great financing programs, including a no money down option.
- Installation – All of our crew members work outside. There is no instance where we would require entry into the home, except on rare occasions, such as to center the installation of new skylight(s) or adjust ventilation in an attic space due to poor convection (air flow).
All of our team members are following the strict health and safety guidelines established by the CDC.
Warmest Regards,
